Hayden Swann

Co-Opted Member

Hayden was appointed to the position of Co-opted Member in April 2010. His affiliations to Pakarae are through his grandfather Heemi Kauta who was an elder of Ngati Konohi, Ngati Oneone and Te Aitanga-a-Mahaki.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning Degree in 2002 from Canterbury University, he has held a number of teaching positions and is currently a lead teacher at Gisborne Central School.

Hayden is passionate about Pakarae and Whangara Farms. He is excited about the development of the farms and the increased prosperity of the Incorporations.

Hayden is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Committee of Management - gaining invaluable knowledge of how an Incorporation is administered and an understanding of the strategic opportunities that exist for shareholders in the future.
